Increased earnings are mandatory. You're in business to make money, not to run a not-for-profit. We work very closely with our clients to help them reduce expenses and increase their earnings.
Self-employment is not an option. Your business is an investment in your future. If it's been just a job, we work with you to make a shift in mind-set from being self-employed to owning your business as an investment. Whether or not you want to sell it, work one day a month, or provide it to your heirs, its investment in your future -- not a job.
Providing employment is a gift. To me, there is no better gift we can give others, than to provide them with a job or consultancy in a company whose leader loves what they do and treats them very well.
Success is what you determine it is. As you're completing your intake form you'll notice that you're answering many personal and business questions about your short and long term goals. That's to help me learn what success means to you, because it's YOUR definition of success that important to the process!
Planning is very important and measuring results matter. You'll have access to a variety of step-by-step planning and measuring tools. In fact, once you compete your intake form and we discuss it, the first goal we have together is to complete your business and marketing plan. That's how we'll establish your objectives and determine the criteria for tracking your progress.
My Approach - Very New Yorkish - Like ME
Although I didn't know it until I moved out of New York, I'm told that I fit the profile of a stereotypical New Yorker. I tell you the truth over being nice every day (no matter what). I love life in all it's diverseness and am carefully adventurous. I am opinionated and have an extreme number of solutions, resources and ideas for just about every problem imaginable. You won't find me quitting something anytime soon. And oh, when it come trusting, I'm not a quick truster. But when I do trust, I stick like glue and am very loyal.
The work we'll do together will be a mix of difficult, awful, frustrating, exciting, wonderful, and lots of fun. Hey, change -- even good change -- isn't easy. If you want to start working together and don't intend on creating a business/marketing plan first, I can't work with you. If there are reasons why you can't schedule the time to do the work that's necessary, don't hire me. If you don't plan on making major and minor changes to your business, don't hire me. If you have a negative, I've done that before and it can't work, suffering, victim attitude, don't hire me. And if you need someone to hold your hand, let's find you someone else to work with.
I'm bottom line, no BS, lets get going, life is short, here's the gentle kick in the ass you need, sort of person. And my clients tell me, often, that they wouldn't want me to be any other way!

- Forget about getting a dust collecting long report from us that outlines problems you know you have. We just don't do that sort of thing.
- We offer services by the hour, monthly, by the project or as follow-up. The clients who reap the most benefit do so by making a commitment to a one year process.

- Because Maria has been a mentor and coach she does a lot of coaching -- helping you take action. Do not hire Elevating Your Business if you're not willing to do the work that will help you reach your desired results.
- Our monthly programs includes ongoing phone or email support, business, marketing, commuter and web training. You'll also receive "urgent calls"when you need them. These are 5-10 minute calls between calls when something urgent arises or you're stuck and you need answers now.
