The business owners I work with love what they do and don't love managing the day-to-day operations of their business. To allow them to do more of what they love -- it takes delegating. And before you delegate, you must document and systematize.

The first system you work on are your goals; then we work on your business and marketing plan. From there you'll determine what system to create next. Could be a pricing system, networking system, follow up system, hiring/firing system, etc., etc.

Documenting helps you get more consistent and accurate results. This helps you spend more time on what you enjoy, deal with what you need to be doing, or the usual emergencies that crop up from time to time. Systems help you spend more time working on your business and less time working in your business -- just like the Emyth Revisited recommends.

The Process

When we work together we follow these general steps to design a customized solution to meet your needs personally and professionally.

Our process is highly customized to each client. However, generally speaking the process looks like this:

Initial Discovery Session
We want to get to know you, your goals, the issues you face, and the results you are looking to achieve. We provide you with a Business Best Practices Assessment to submit to us prior to your Discovery Session. Together we'll look at your company's weaknesses and strengths and by end of this call we'll know if we're a good match to work together (or not). Clients with profits of under 1M then choose a plan that best suites your overall situation. Clients over 1M in sales, see the next step.

Program Customization
We'll send you an informal proposal outlining a program tailored to you (and/or your team) for you to sign off on. The program may consist of: coaching, consulting, education, resources, or training (or a mixture of these). It may include one-on-one or group work or both. It maybe work on a specific project or work done over time. Sometimes the proposal is approved as it is; other times we talk again before it's finalized and our partnership begins.

Support
Support could include phone, in person, Skype, or email. Complete the weekly Success Tracker by email and keep me up to date on your progress and concerns between calls.

Plan
One initiative our programs always include is the completion of the One Page Business Plan® for the person or people we work with. It defines your vision, goals, strategies, and goals. It also gives us a roadmap for future success and action.

Execution
You'll implement, monitor your plan weekly using our online Performance Management System.

Sessions
Consist of support, brainstorming, training, listening sessions, and whatever issues came about in your Success Tracker or since it was submitted. At the end of each session you'll determine 2-3 tasks (happy homework) to complete before the next session that will help you reach important goals.

At every point, you'll profit from whatever tips, tools, ideas, perspective, resources, templates, and support Maria (and her team) offer.
