My Passion
I love teaching people whatever they need to get to the next steps. It started at age 9 year when being a mediocre student myself; I tutored John so that he didn’t get left back that year. The following year I gave up my summer to tutor first graders. Even on Wall Street, it showed up when I started teaching the advisors all about the securities I sold.
I love everything about business! Maybe it’s because I’m a third generation business owner. Maybe it’s because I love problem solving, organization, and efficiency. Maybe it’s because I love being in charge. I can go on and on. Helping someone figure out the best business for them, helping a company expand, supporting a company in its quest to double their profits, and even sustain a company is a wild adventure and challenge. Know that I am passionate about helping women business owners like you succeed in business while living the life you went into business to achieve.
I don’t mind being called a Geek or The Resource Queen either! And I'm told that I'm a typical NYer -- opinionated, honest to a fault, with a big generous heart; and my clients tell me that they wouldn't have it any other way.
For the past 10 years, I have been an advisor to business owners ranging from business start-ups to 14M in sales. They range from home based solo-preneurs to having 50 employees and are all independent service professionals and business owners. I call myself an advisor because my clients want a coach but need a mixture of coaching, consulting and training. I’ve worked with more than 30 different service industries, in most states, and in 5 countries through my company, Elevating Your Business.
I’ve taken my passions beyond the next steps by speaking across the county and starting Elevating Your Business University and Millionaire Business Mastermind both of which allow me to use my expertise and gifts to help business owners by helping them create systems that help them focus on their goals, while supporting them with new ideas in my workbooks, resources, and during 1:1 or group sessions that help them substantially grow. Business consulting and business coaching have given me valuable insights into the needs of an emerging small business.
My Life Adventure
Like you, my life path has been full of difficulties, opportunities, and adventures. I began my career as a cashier, then sold AVON, and then ended up in corporate America where I held various positions with formerly well-known names such as Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns and Dean Witter Reynolds securities. I started my second business as a consultant on Wall Street and worked at a few non-for-profit organizations bringing to them my business expertise. I am a graduate of Coach U, founding member of Coachville having worked for Thomas Leonard (founder of the profession of coaching) for 4 years and I’m a perpetual learner.
Professional Affiliations
Some of the positions I've been paid for include: baby-sitter, cashier, hardware store sales person, AVON rep, fixed-income trader, accounting manager, special projects manager, program director, events planner, caterer, organizer, and of course, my current position as a strategic business advisor!
I’ve been a volunteer for four decades most currently at places such as Make Mine a Million Dollar Business Mentor, Certified TeleSeminar Leader, Graduate of Coach U, Coachville Founding Member, Washington Decca, Columbia Tower Club Welcome Committee Member, Eagle Harbor UCC, Licensed Consultant One Page Business Plan® Currently, I am turning some of my eWorkbooks into business books for women who consider themselves advisors and who are ready to substantially expand their business sales, and create systems that help them have more free time.

Personally
I am currently single living near Seattle, WA, looking forward to returning home to NY within the next few years. I’ve received the Lynne Steinman Community Service Award, 10 NYC Parks Dept. Certificates of Recognition, and numerous other awards for my volunteer efforts protecting the trees, beaches, and working with teenagers. I enjoy playing cards and games, gardening, attending the theatre, concerts, or perusing hardware and office supply stores.
