Simply looking at a calendar is one easy way to help business owners plan your yearly marketing calendar!

It also let’s the world and your team know when the office is open and closed during the holidays.

Once a year, add your holiday hours to your Google My Business and BING Business profiles.  Next, publish this information on your website, too.

Alerting your team members to when the office will be closed or observing half days is important to them. This will also help streamline vacation requests and manage expectations.

Hosting client appreciation events is just one way to show clients that you value their business—aside from the usual birthday and holiday cards/gifts or just a call to say “hi” (without talking shop, of course).

The end of year is a great time to host an “open house” event over the course of 4 to 6 hours. Ask your clients to bring their friends and family members to your office. However, don’t plan anything too formal, such as serving hot food, and don’t hold classes—your event should include mingling, food, and fun only! From a business perspective, there are few better ways to meet qualified referrals than an informal event where guests can get to know you and your firm and leave with a positive impression.

Add a question to your Client Personal Intake Form like, “What are the best days and times for you to attend an event in my office?” Not everyone is available when you think! Never guess.
