Do you need to create a professional looking "contact us" form on your website, blog, or Facebook account? Ready to create a survey form? What about a form used to register attendees for your next event?   Or maybe you need a form for some other reason and don't have a website at all? Five or six years ago, I went "form digging" for a resource that would create forms "on the fly". Before that time, I needed very few forms and either created my own forms or paid a programmer to create them for me. But since I wanted to design more and different forms, I decided that it was time to find a company

Update my firm's website's design by _____. Or maybe what's on your to-do list or listed on your business and marketing plan looks like this: Create a firm website by _____. (OR THIS) Create a firm blog by ______. In 1998, when started my business, websites were 4-5 page, contained few graphics, had music shouting at you, words moving too fast on a page, and cost $5000 minimum. To save money I attended a web design program, at Wake Tech, Raleigh NC. There I learned how to code websites from scratch (called hand coding). I also helped other coaches and business owners by designing their sites. Today, I enjoy keeping up with all things IT and

WordPress just came out with a responsive version (3.8).  If you use WordPress (I use it on my blog)  this version is now RESPONSIVE. If your WordPress website or blog is on your own domain name (website address, URL) you can upgrade it for free. Let me give you a little background.  Years ago, you created a website or blog and when someone looked at it in their mobile device, it looked awful.  So what you did was create a VERY LONG home page, with nothing on the side (i.e. no 2nd or 3rd column on

Financial advisors are bringing their “second office” to the Internet, but they often experience migraines when deciding what that means as they get ready to hire and deal with a web designer. On the other hand, my designer clients often tell me that they want to rip their hair out because of the extra items their clients keep asking for after they've started a project. Like your services, web design requires thought, planning, and lots of communication before you sign on the dotted line. We recommend that before you speak to a web designer about the specifics of your website, that you present your business plan, value proposition,  ideal client profile, and a list of the ways

Is it time to create a blog?  Maybe you have a website but it's not responsive (mobile friendly). If you own a domain name and have hosting, somewhere in your emails you have the instructions to get into your Control Panel (it's like a dashboard)?  If so, watch me create a WordPress blog (or website) with a plug-n-play program you may already have, such as like QuickInstall or Fantastico. You'll watch me do just that during this 12+ minute video. If your hosting company offers either plug-n-play program, it will be on the dashboard (usually the first page you're brought to once you log into your C-Panel). Setting up a blog on your site only takes a few clicks in the right places.
