Xenu: Identify broken website links – FREE
To fix links, you have to know that they’re broken (not working) or are redirecting (they work but are being sent to a different website page). Of course you fix the ones that aren’t working and also change the URLS so that theyare no longer redirecting (unless it’s an affiliate link).
I think that I started using this free software in 2000 when my website was 10 pages! I usually upgrade when Tillman (it’s creator) sends me an update notice through his other free yahoogroups list.
It’s not perfect, but it’s very good! If you don’t fix your own website, do your web designer a favor and tell them about it!
