A good reason not to deal with Commission Junction…

Not everyone who starts advertising other peple’s businesses, get click throughs and sales right away. My problem with Commission Junction has always been their “six month rule”.

What happens is that most business owners forget that the ads on their website include Commission Junction links; and they loose commission from sales because it’s after the 6-month period.

Agreement or not, the system isn’t condusive to small business owners looking for commissions from sales of products they beleive in. I will not longer advertise Commission Junctions based-affiliate programs.

You are receiving this email because your Commission Junction publisher account has not generated any valid commissions during the last five months. Commission Junction is committed to maintaining a dynamic and productive marketplace. Consequently, per the Publisher Service Agreement, we regularly deactivate accounts that are not actively earning commissions and do not have a sufficient balance amount. Your account has been deemed inactive and is scheduled for deactivation in 30 days for dormancy to begin the dormancy process within 30 days. Any balance held in this account will begin accruing a monthly dormant account fee. Once the account has reached a zero balance, the account will be deactivated. Please note that while your account is deactivated, you will not track or earn commissions and your advertiser relationships may expire.

If you no longer wish to keep this account active, simply disregard this email and your account will be deactivated in 30 days through the normal process. Additionally, you may contact Commission Junction Client Support to have any account balance withdrawn. If you wish to continue using this account, there are three ways to accomplish this:
• Generate a commission before your account is deactivated. Deactivation will occur 30 days from date of this notice.
• If you are unable to generate a commission before your account is deactivated, simply log in to your account within 180 days of deactivation and follow the prompts for reactivation. This will reactivate the account with no consequences other than a loss of tracking between deactivation and reactivation and potentially expired relationships with advertisers.
• If you are unable to reactivate your account online, you can call Commission Junction Client Support and request that your account be reactivated. You can contact us at 1-800-761-1072. We are available from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm PST, Monday through Friday, excluding company holidays.

If you’d like some information on strategies and tips for earning commissions, simply log in to the CJ Account Manager within the next 30 days and click on the CJU Online link for helpful resources.

If you have any questions at any time, please call us at the number above or email us using the Contact Us link in your CJ Account Manager.

Regards,
Commission Junction Client Support
