How Wonderful!

Today, Oct 18, is not my birthday, it’s tomorrow. 

Today I spoke at the Bainbridge Island Rotary who has meetings in two shifts.  I spoke at lunch and am on my way back to speak again on “Creating a Roadmap for Success on a Page: It Starts with a Vision”.   Each audiance member is creating a Business Vision Statement (or Executive Vision Statement) on a page.

When I got home this afternoon there was a package for me from my  youngest (OK Joan I didn’t say Baby!) sister Joan, that contained a Casio Camera!!  The note said that I was getting my Christmas present a bit earlier.  Joan is an Ebay seller.   She knows that I want to sell some stuff  I have on Ebay and one of the things that was holding me up was a camera (I have a Nikon purchased in 1981 that I love — but it takes good old fashion film!)

Next I opened my email and found a note from two of my clients in Florida (who know each other).  That’s Christine the Content Writer  on the left and Allie the “future” Graphic Designer on the right!  Yes, I felt so touched that I started to cry — and then remememeber I had makeup on and should save the crying till after my next talk!

Ain’t turning ____ grand!?

Tonight I’ll be staying at the Sheradan in Bellevue, WA.  I’m doing something I LOVE doing tomorrow…  speaking about strategic planning and helping the members of the Washington State Association Executives create a Roadmap for Success, too!
