Is Anderson Cooper Taking Too Much of a Risk?
I was just reading the New York Times Article “Anderson Cooper Seeks to Show His Daytime Side”, about Anderson Cooper’s move to daytime.
When I first heard about this move I thought “wah?” “Has he gone nuts?” “What is the man doing to his brand?”
But the more I thought about it, the more it makes sense from a business and life standpoint.
He can do more of what he was doing, something he sure is comfortable with (as well as an expert at) or he could take an educated risk, be uncomfortable and have a “new” fun.
Risk is part of growth whether it turns out to be a success or failure. He’s only taking a risk like all of us have taken when it’s time for us to grow as human beings.
What do you think of his change to daytime?
